Minor injuries reported in I-35 northbound crash

In a minor accident that took place on Interstate 35, just north of Highway 291, two drivers experienced a collision that resulted in minor injuries and damages. The incident, which occurred on March 1, 2024, at approximately 4:39 p.m., involved a 2010 Dodge Avenger and a 2008 Lexus IS250, both traveling northbound.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Dodge Avenger, driven by 22-year-old Reanne N. Brumley of Hamilton, Missouri, struck the rear of the Lexus IS250, which was operated by 46-year-old Fida M. Padash of Gladstone, Missouri. Both drivers were reported to have been using seat belts at the time of the accident.

Fida M. Padash sustained minor injuries and was transported by Liberty Fire to Liberty Hospital for treatment. The Lexus IS250, which Padash was driving, sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene by GT Tow. The Dodge Avenger, on the other hand, was able to be driven from the scene, also sustaining minor damage.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has not released further details about the cause of the collision.
