A candidate has filed for Grundy County Collector-Treasurer for the August 6 Primary Election. Michelle Geib of Trenton registered as a Republican for the position on Friday afternoon, March 22.
Previous filings for the August Primary include incumbent Don Sager and Kevin Ireland for First District Commissioner, along with Bryan Johnson and incumbent Brad Chumbley for Second District Commissioner. Other incumbents who have previously filed are Dewayne Slater for Coroner, Adria Moore for Public Administrator, Rodney Herring for Sheriff, and Nathan Curtis for Assessor.
The deadline to file for the August 6 Primary Election is Tuesday, March 26, at 5 p.m.
