An accident involving two vehicles occurred on Highway D, approximately two miles north of Martinsville, on the afternoon of March 12, 2024, around 1:54 p.m.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2016 Dodge Journey, driven by 30-year-old Angela C. McIntosh of Bethany, Missouri, was heading north when it attempted to turn into a private driveway, crossing into the path of a southbound 2020 GMC 2500, driven by 48-year-old Keven D. Johnson of Jamesport, Missouri.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene, with Southside MFA handling the Dodge Journey and Schroff’s Towing taking care of the GMC 2500. The crash report indicates that McIntosh, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mosaic Albany by NTA Ambulance. Johnson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was also involved in the crash, though the report did not specify his condition.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by Corporal C.J. Sullivan and Trooper B.D. Hahn.
