Individuals wanting to enter the Daviess County Courthouse at Gallatin must have an appointment, pass a health screening, and come through a security scanner, effective immediately.
The April 7th General Municipal Election has been postponed to June 2nd, and Daviess County Clerk Ronetta Burton reports absentee voting will continue by mail, email, or curbside at the courthouse until June 1st. Daviess County voters wishing to receive a ballot to vote at home should call the county clerk’s office at 660-663-3300 extension 5.
Candidates wishing to file for the August 4th Primary Election should also call the county clerk’s office and make an appointment.
