On Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, the Chillicothe Police Department was engaged in a variety of activities. In addition to these specific incidents, officers conducted traffic stops, and business checks, and pursued numerous investigations throughout the day.

The morning continued with a response to a disturbance at 10:17 am in the 800 block of Walnut Street. The situation was identified as a civil matter involving a landlord and tenant dispute.

Shortly after, at 10:36 am, officers were dispatched to Elm and Polk Street due to a trespassing report. A subject was contacted and issued a warning.

In the afternoon, at 1:42 pm, a theft report was filed from the 700 block of Elm Street. Officers successfully tracked the stolen phone to a Phones for Cash kiosk. They are currently collaborating with ECO ATM to recover the stolen property and identify the suspect.

Later, at 4:51 pm, officers attempted to serve a warrant in the 900 block of Vine Street but were unable to locate the intended subject.

Subsequently, at 4:55 pm, officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 1000 block of S Washington Street. Upon arrival, they made contact with an individual but found no evidence of criminal activity.
