12:12 AM Officers were flagged down by a concerned citizen reporting a threat received through a third party. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
06:55 AM A motor vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Highway 65 and Business 36. The vehicle responsible for the accident left the scene. The investigation into this hit-and-run incident is ongoing.
07:51 AM Responding to a call regarding a civil property dispute, officers advised the caller that they would not assist in the exchange of civil property.
09:43 AM At the courthouse’s request, officers fingerprinted an inmate for official purposes.
09:54 AM Another fingerprinting took place shortly after, with officers processing a suspect for court-related reasons.
10:28 AM A theft report was filed for an incident in the 1000 block of Elm Street. The investigation is set to continue as officers gather more information.
10:44 AM Officers assisted a stranded motorist at the intersection of Polk and Washington, ensuring the vehicle was safely moved off the roadway.
10:48 AM Additional fingerprinting for court purposes was conducted by the officers.
10:59 AM In the 700 block of Commercial Street, officers responded to reports of threats. While no report was filed, advice was given to seek a protection order.
01:44 PM The Animal Control Officer (ACO) initiated an investigation into the alleged falsification of documents pertaining to a service animal.
