Carolyn Kay Romine, 85 years old, of Winigan, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at her home.
Carolyn was born February 7, 1939, in Adams, Nebraska to Carl and Janet Fischer. On April 17, 1989, she married Randall Romine, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by: Her parents and two brothers, Gary Fischer and Lynn Fischer.
Carolyn is survived by: a son, Jon West and wife Jennifer of Winigan; two daughters, Jan Lange of Missouri City, Missouri, and Jeri Handy and husband Ron of Lafayette, Louisiana; a sister, Rose Wade of Lincoln, Nebraska; Grandkids, Mariah (Thomas) Stone, Ashley West, Jonathon West, and Josh West; Great Grandkids, Bentley Rick, Katie Stone, Savannah Stone, Madison Stone, and Taylor Stone.
Carolyn grew up in Nebraska and worked at Russell Stover’s in Lincoln, Nebraska, and on a farm helping milk cows. She then lived in Kansas City and worked at Armco Steel. She then retired with Randall to the Winigan area and had a cleaning business. Carolyn enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and to casinos, and playing cards. She was a member of the Winigan Christian Church.
A Celebration of Life for Carolyn will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Christian Church in Winigan, Missouri.
