Another Republican candidate has filed to run for United States Representative District 6 for the August 6 primary election. Weldon Wray Woodward of Edina submitted his candidacy at the Secretary of State’s Office in Jefferson City on Tuesday morning, March 5.
Republican candidates who filed last week include incumbent Sam Graves, Freddie Griffin Junior, and Brandon Kleinmeyer. Democrats Erik Richardson and Rich Gold also filed for U.S. Representative District 6 last week.
The deadline to file for the August 6 primary election is March 26.
