The Trenton R-9 Special Education Department will host a silent basket auction and bake sale during spring parent-teacher conferences to support a trip for special education students.
Bids for donated baskets with various items will be accepted the March 13th online in the morning and at Trenton High School/Middle School at parent-teacher conferences from 2 to 7 o’clock. The winners will be notified after bidding ends at 7 o’clock.
Cookies, pies, cake pops, cinnamon rolls, and cupcakes will also be for sale during the parent-teacher conferences at the high school/middle school March 13th.
The proceeds from the silent auction and bake sale will help the special education students travel to South Dakota and Wyoming where they will study the presidents on Mount Rushmore and visit historical places tied to their curriculum.
