Trenton High School choirs to present Spring Concert
Trenton High School choirs will present their Spring Concert on Friday, May 10th at 7 o’clock at the First Baptist Church. Performing groups will include State Solo and Ensemble Qualifiers, Concert Choir, and Gold Rush. Year-End Awards will be presented near the conclusion of the concert and includes the Ann Brinser and Ruth Risser awards.
Northwestern High School in Mendon names top graduates
Northwestern High School in Mendon held graduation on Sunday and has named the top graduates. Named as the class Valedictorian was Emily Mae Truesdell who won a two thousand dollar scholarship. The Salutatorian at Northwestern is Tori Kristine Adams. She takes home a fifteen hundred dollar scholarship.

Two area schools will hold graduation ceremonies Friday night, May 3, 2019. Thirty-three seniors will graduate from Princeton R-5 High School at 7 o’clock and fifteen seniors will graduate from Hale R-1 also at 7 o’clock. Hale Science teacher Janet Foster will address the graduates during the ceremony.

Trenton FFA’s annual chapter banquet set for Friday
FFA members and community members will be recognized at the Trenton FFA’s Annual Chapter Banquet Friday, May 3, 2019. The FFA Chapter will serve a meal in the Trenton High School gym that evening at 6 o’clock with awards to follow. Smithfield’s Farmland Foods of Milan donated the meat for the meal.
