Several area school districts will hold graduation ceremonies Friday evening, May 10, 2019.
Four seniors will graduate from North Daviess R-3 at 6 o’clock with Business and Technology teacher Jonathon Elder will giving the commencement address.
Forty-one students will graduate from Gallatin R-5 High School at 6:30. Teacher Ryan Beenken will speak at the ceremony.
Jamesport Tri-County math teacher Richard Willett will address 10 graduating seniors in the Robert Kimberling Gym at 7 o’clock. Jamesport’s Valedictorian is Taegan Dunks, and the Salutatorian is Tanna Courter.
Newtown-Harris R-3 will have 10 seniors graduate at 7 o’clock and the speaker will be aide Caleb Fairley.
Former teacher Spencer Naylor will speak to nine Gilman City R-4 graduates at a ceremony, also at 7 o’clock. Gilman City announced its Valedictorian as Garrett Clark and Salutatorian as Riley Still.
