The Spickard City Council heard a presentation and discussed insurance coverage for 2017 at its meeting Monday evening.
Council member Maggie George moved to hold off on insuring two vehicles with the possibility of selling them at a later date.
Member Betty Lee moved to find out the cost to get the backhoe to work.
City Clerk Mary Exley gave a report on looking for a new or refurbished grinder pump for backup.
The budget was presented to the council for review and the new budget is due in April.
