The Princeton chamber of commerce reports it has 11 new flower boxes for around the Square.
They need 6 more at a cost of $100 each and if anyone would like to purchase a flower box, contact Kelly Bertrand or Donna Herdrich.
Among coming events, the Pep Band will be playing concerts on the Bandstand in June, July, and August. June dates will be June 24th and 30th from 7:00 to 8:30 and the Chamber will be selling cake and ice cream.
The 4th of July Celebration will be at Smithfield main office north of Princeton because of construction work at the school. The Princeton Chamber will be serving watermelon at 8 pm followed by the fireworks show at dusk.
The Annual All School Reunion will be at5 pm held in the Smithfield Education Center with updates to be given on school construction.
There will be a Circus coming to Princeton on August 26 at the Mercer County Fair Grounds with two shows planned: 2 pm and 4 pm. More information will be available soon.
The Princeton chamber is planning a Musical Show this October as a Tribute of Elford Horn. Contact Donna Herdrich if you know a musician from the past that you would like to honor or if you would play or sing.
It was mentioned he started the Band Tax that is a source of funds for live entertainment.
