Mercer County Public Water Supply District Number 1 has issued a precautionary boil order due to the installation of a valve near Modena.
The boil order affects customers west of Modena to the Harrison County line, south to the Grundy County line, and north to Highway 136.
The precautionary boil remains in effect until further notice.
