The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing projects on two area roads.

Contractors from Herzog Contracting Corporation will begin work on Route 190 from Route U in Livingston County to Route 6 in Daviess County Friday.

The contractor will close the road in two-mile sections starting at Route U and working north to Route V.

The portion of the project from Route V to Route 6 will be done in one lane at a time with a pilot car to guide motorists.

Work will begin on U. S. Route 69 from north of Pence Road in DeKalb County to Interstate 35 in Daviess County later this month.

Work will begin at the southern end of the project in Cameron and go north to Interstate 35.

Crews will close one lane of the road at a time with a pilot car guiding motorists.

Work on both roads will be done Monday through Saturday from 7 o’clock in the morning to 7 o’clock at night and will go through mid-July.
