Macon couple involved in accident on Highway 36 near Bevier

An accident involving a 2012 Honda Odyssey occurred on Highway 36 westbound, approximately one mile west of Bevier, on the morning of April 23, 2024, at 7:25 a.m.

The driver, James A. Busick, 35, of Macon, Missouri, lost control of the vehicle, which then veered off the left side of the highway and struck a ditch. Busick, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, sustained minor damages to his vehicle. 

Elizabeth E. Busick, 30, also of Macon, Missouri, was an occupant in the vehicle during the incident. She was wearing her seat belt and suffered minor injuries. She was transported by Macon County Ambulance to Samaritan Hospital for further evaluation.

The Honda Odyssey was towed by Still’s Towing.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, along with Macon County Ambulance, assisted at the scene of the crash.
