The Kirksville Women of Today announces the hosting of its 28th Annual Spring Arts and Crafts Show. This community event is set to take place at the William Matthew Middle School on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Kirksville Women of Today utilizes these funds to award two $500 scholarships annually. These scholarships are granted to deserving senior girls from Kirksville High School every May, aiding in their educational pursuits.

In the past, profits from the concession stand have supported several key initiatives and organizations, including The Foodbank of Central and Northeast Missouri, Wonderland Camp camperships, the Birthday Closets at Kirksville Primary through Upper Elementary Schools, the Buddy Back Pack Program, Adair County Relay for Life, and various programs orchestrated by the Kirksville Parks & Recreation Department.

This year, the organization is dedicated to using the proceeds to sponsor community-enriching activities such as a movie in the park and a $1 swim night at the Kirksville Aquatic Center. These events promise to provide fun and affordable entertainment options for families and individuals in the community, reinforcing the Kirksville Women of Today’s commitment to fostering a supportive and vibrant local environment.
