The Grundy County Health Department of Trenton will offer flu vaccines without an appointment.
Vaccines will be available for individuals of all ages Tuesdays from 9 o’clock in the morning to 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
The health department asks participants to bring their Medicare, Medicaid, or health insurance cards for billing purposes. Donations are requested from individuals not covered by insurance. The cost for this year’s vaccine is $45.
The Grundy County Health Department reports the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommends everyone over the age of six months old receive a flu shot.
