The Highway Patrol reports a Livonia man was arrested following a one-vehicle accident three miles east of Greentop Tuesday morning.
Twenty-two year old Collin Williams traveled east on Route J when the pickup truck he drove ran off the left side of the road, crossed over another road, impacted the ground, and overturned. The truck came to rest on its top and was totaled.
The Patrol arrested Williams and accused him of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident.
An ambulance transported him to the Northeast Regional Medical Center of Kirksville with moderate injuries.
The Patrol reports Williams wore a seatbelt at the time of the accident and noted the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene of the crash.
