A Green City man faces charges in Sullivan County after an alleged incident.

Thirty-four-year-old Roger Wales has been charged with the felonies of first-degree burglary, second-degree domestic assault, and third-degree domestic assault. He has also been charged with misdemeanor second-degree property damage. Bond was set at $25,000 cash only.

A probable cause statement accuses Wales of assaulting the victim in a truck, grabbing the victim as he or she started to walk away, and throwing down the victim. He then reportedly sat on top of the alleged victim, hit the person in the face and ribs, and choked the person.

The person allegedly tried to lock out Wales from his or her residence, and he attempted to kick in the door. He is accused of entering the home through a living room window before reportedly going into the bathroom and hitting the victim in the face.

Court information indicates Wales and the victim were related by marriage.
