Driver and 1-year-old boy injured in Adair County crash

In an incident on the afternoon of April 1, 2024, a crash occurred on Highway J, approximately one mile north of Highway 11 and three miles west of Adair, Missouri. A 2012 Ford Fiesta, driven by Natasha L. Findling of Greentop, Missouri, veered off the right side of the road and overturned multiple times.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the driver, 28-year-old Findling, and a 1-year-old male juvenile, also from Greentop, were the occupants of the vehicle at the time of the mishap. The driver was using a seat belt and the 1-year-old boy was secured in a car seat at the time of the accident.

Findling suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Adair County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment. The toddler, a 1-year-old boy, sustained minor injuries and was also taken to Northeast Regional Hospital by Adair County Ambulance.

The Ford Fiesta sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by Lakeside Towing.

The accident prompted a coordinated response from various emergency services, including the Missouri State Highway Patrol, assisted by Master Sergeant Gaines, Corporal Mason, Trooper Smith, the Adair County Sheriff’s Department, Adair County Ambulance, and the Kirksville Fire Department.
