The city of Princeton is appealing to customers to turn down their natural gas thermostat in an effort to be conservative regarding its usage.

That announcement came Tuesday morning from Princeton city hall as natural gas shortages are being reported around the country. Adjusting the thermostat by a few degrees is expected to help stretch the natural gas supply.

Princeton’s natural gas is serviced by Utility Gas Management.
