A man from Orlando, Florida was hurt when a tractor-trailer truck overturned on highway 36 west of Laclede.
Thirty-seven-year-old Nathan Lee was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield with moderate injuries. Lee was a passenger in a truck driven by 21-year-old Adam Simpson of Independence who was not reported hurt during the crash.
The accident happened Friday morning one mile west of Laclede on Highway 36 when the westbound truck went off the right side of the road, hit the ground and overturned. The truck was extensively damaged.
Simpson was wearing a seatbelt, however, Lee was not.
