A chili lunch, live auction, and raffle fundraiser will be held for a three-year-old girl diagnosed with leukemia.
The event for Mackenzie Cunningham of Trenton will be held in the Activity Center of the First Assembly of God Church of Trenton March 16th. Food will be served from 11 to 1 o’clock and Arnold Auctions will conduct the live auction at 1 o’clock. A Henry 22 caliber lever action rifle and $100 Hy-Vee gift card will be raffled for $5 per ticket or $20 for five tickets.
Tickets can be purchased at the Grundy County Courthouse of Trenton in the Associate Division Circuit Court Office, the Republican Times, KTTN, Mark’s Barber Shop, and Vintage Vines. Money raised will go toward paying for medical treatments for Mackenzie Cunningham.
Cunningham receives weekly chemotherapy treatments at Children’s Mercy Hospital and has received blood and platelet transfusions, spinal taps, and bone marrow aspirations. She is expected to receive six phases of treatments in the next two years and is the daughter of Eric and Kylie Cunningham.
