Albany woman injured in early morning crash on ice-covered bridge

An Albany woman was among two people injured early Tuesday morning when a car went out of control on an ice-covered bridge in rural Henry County, ran off Highway 7, and struck a tree.

The highway patrol listed minor injuries for 26-year-old Meghan Holloway of Albany and for the driver, 27-year-old Jonathan Hammer of Bolivar. Both were taken by emergency medical services to the Golden Valley Hospital at Clinton.

Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt and the car was moderately damaged in the 12:30 morning wreck.
