One resident of Albany was injured and another escaped injury this morning in a single-vehicle wreck that occurred at Lowry City in St. Clair County.
Sixty-three-year-old Jacqueline Brookman received moderate injuries and was taken by emergency medical services to the Citizens Memorial Hospital hospital in Bolivar. The driver of the sport utility vehicle was listed as 54-year-old Kimberly Arthur of Albany.
The SUV traveled off southbound Highway 13, struck a ditch, become airborne, crossed the highway, struck a road sign, the ditch, and overturned.
The vehicle was demolished and both occupants were using seat belts.
