Winners have been announced from the weekend quilt show held at Wesley United Methodist Church in Trenton.
The viewers choice award went to Twyla Johnson of Spickard. The quilters’ guild award went to Joyce Evans of Chillicothe and the winner of a quilt drawing was Mary Ireland of Trenton.
Some 50 to 60 quilts were displayed for the Missouri Day Festival event. Twenty-one quilts will be included with a shipment to military personnel overseas in time for Christmas. Monetary donations also were received to go toward the cost of shipping the quilts.
The show was sponsored by the Scrappy Quilters Quilt Guild.
