The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Weatherby resident Wednesday in Daviess County on a Grundy County charge of passing a bad check.
Thirty-four-year-old Billie Parker was charged with felony passing a bad check with no account or insufficient funds. She posted her bond of $1,000 cash only, and she is scheduled for the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court Tuesday, April 24th.
Court documents accuse Parker of passing a check for $272, drawn upon a non-existent account at the Hamilton Bank payable to the Trenton Money Store, knowing it would not be paid.
