A man from Weatherby was injured in a Daviess county accident yesterday afternoon.
The highway patrol said 52-year-old David McKinnon received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
McKinnon was westbound when his car traveled off into the eastbound lane and went off the south side of Highway 6 where it struck a fence and came to a stop upright in a field. The car received extensive damage.
The accident location was nearly a mile east of Route EE junction near the DeKalb-Daviess County line.
The driver was using a seat belt.
