Two vehicles collided at an intersection in Unionville early Wednesday evening, resulting in one driver being taken to a hospital.
The highway patrol reports 18-year-old Jessica Raisor of Unionville was taken by ambulance to Putnam County Memorial Hospital of Unionville with minor injuries.
Ms. Raisor was driving a car eastbound when she attempted to make a turn onto Grant Street but veered into the path of a westbound pickup driven by 65-year-old Tommy Willis of LaPlata. The patrol report notes that Willis wasn’t hurt. Damage to both vehicles was minor in the 5:45 Wednesday evening accident. Both drivers were using safety devices.
The highway patrol was assisted by Unionville Police Department and the Unionville first responders.
