Trenton High School will host a 5K/10K Run and 5K Walk next month to benefit The Thirst Project.

The Thirst Project is a group of socially-conscious young people on a mission to end a global water crisis by building fresh water wells in Swaziland in Southern Africa.

Registration for the Holly Jolly Jog will start on the morning of December 15th at 8:45 with the race to begin at 9:30. Medals will be awarded to the top two runners in each of seven age brackets for the races. Participants are encouraged to run or walk in their ugliest Christmas sweater and to bring their dogs. Dogs will compete in an ugly sweater contest with token awards presented to the best-dressed dog and runner.

The entry fee costs $25 for adults, $15 for students, and $5 for children younger than 10 years old when registered with an adult. The first 100 registrants will receive a Holly Jolly Jog pom beanie.

Registration forms for the race are available by CLICKING HERE or you may email high school secretary Jessica Spurgeon for more information.
