A Trenton FFA member won the Missouri FFA Wildlife Management Proficiency Award at the Missouri FFA Convention.

Hannah Persell of Trenton is a Senior at Trenton High School. Her supervised agricultural experience program consists of volunteering at Crowder State Park. One of her main goals is to educate others about Missouri’s wildlife.

Through her supervised agricultural experience program, Persell has spoken with organizations and groups about the importance of wildlife management. She has also assisted with managing deer hunts and habitat burns.

Persell plans to attend the University of Missouri—Columbia to study agricultural education and natural resources. She hopes to get a job in public relations serving as an interpreter or advocate to an agriculture or natural resources business or corporation.
