The Trenton Police Department will hold Coffee with a Cop at the Trenton Fire Department next month. The program will be held in the fire department’s training room the morning of August 9th from 7 to 9 o’clock. Vehicle destroyed by fire on Monday

A vehicle which was fully engulfed by fire as firefighters arrived is a total loss on Monday. Derek Hert with the Trenton Fire Department reports Grundy County Rural Fire Protection District responded to the fire on Northeast 18th Avenue. No buildings were in danger, and no one was injured due to the fire.

Saturday fire destroys vehicle in Trenton

Fire Saturday destroyed a van at the Trenton Village Apartments on 30th street in Trenton. A Trenton Fire Department spokesman said the van was being backed from a parking space when the fire was noticed in the engine compartment.
