A high school student at Sweet Springs,, Missouri, who has relatives in Trenton, has won a national award showing of hogs.
Cole Murphy of rural Houstonia on Tuesday won first place in one of the divisions of the National Junior Swine Show held in Des Moines, Iowa. Murphy exhibited the national crossbred champion gilt.
Linda Antle of Trenton is his grandmother.
