The North Central Missouri Mental Health Center in Trenton will hold parenting classes starting later this month.
The classes will be held Tuesday afternoons June 20th through August 1st from 1 to 3 o’clock however, no class will be held on July 4th.
Topics covered will include parenting 101 and teaching self-control, infants and toddlers, handling misbehavior and focusing on children ages 5 to 10, children succeeding in school, decision making and focusing on teenagers, and building relationships.
Each class will include a video, handouts, and discussion.
Childcare will not be provided.
Participants can pick and choose which classes will best suit their needs with certificates to be awarded upon completion.
