The Livingston County Courthouse has new guidelines for entering the building due to the Coronavirus and protecting the public and county staff.

The inside door on the north side of the courthouse will be locked, and the courthouse security officer will remind the public to transact business with county offices by mail, email, or phone.

Individuals who believe they have a need requiring them to visit the courthouse are asked to call the specific office to discuss how the business can be completed and to schedule an appointment with that office.

To comply with Sunshine Laws for public meetings, the Livingston County Commission will have a call-in number the public can use if desired beginning Tuesday at its next regularly scheduled meeting. The number has not yet been released.
