The Missouri Veterans of Foreign Wars has strongly endorsed the Amendment 2 medical marijuana ballot measure.

Tom Mundell is the former State Commander of the organization. He says the VFW rarely makes political endorsements but thinks medical marijuana could be a difference maker in the fight against addiction.

Lieutenant Colonel Todd Scattini served in the United States Army for 27 years. He contends medical marijuana could prove to be successful in handling brain injuries.

Kyle Kisner, who served in both and Afghanistan, says he overcame opioid addiction by using medical marijuana. Kisner acknowledges a condition exists called marijuana use disorder but contends it presents very few dependency problems.

Amendment 2 two has garnered the most attention and endorsements among the three medical marijuana measures on the Missouri ballot.
