The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office reports Mercer County Chief Deputy Louis Collobert died unexpectedly Monday at his home.
Jail Administrator Travis Marts says Collobert served as a deputy sheriff in Platte County in the 1970s and 80s. He served Mercer County since 2000 and was also active with the Mercer Fire Protection District.
A Celebration of Life for Chief Deputy Louis Collobert will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Mercer Community Building in the City of Mercer.
