A resident of McFall was injured early Sunday afternoon in a four-wheeler rollover accident six miles to the north of New Hampton.
The highway patrol reports 66-year-old Gary Hill of McFall was taken by ambulance to Liberty Hospital with moderate injuries.
The four-wheeler was westbound on 335th Avenue in Harrison County when it traveled across the center line and into the eastbound lane, went off the south side of the road where it overturned and struck a fence. The vehicle came to rest on its top off the south side of the road.
Hill was not using safety equipment and damage to the vehicle was minor in the accident at 12:30 pm Sunday.
Assistance was provided by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, NTA Ambulance and Grand River Ambulance Districts as well as the New Hampton Fire Department.
