The Highway Patrol conducted a driving while intoxicated saturation in Harrison County this weekend.

Troop H Commanding Officer Captain James McDonald reports six officers patrolled the county from Saturday night at 7 o’clock to Sunday morning at 3 o’clock.

Officers arrested two individuals for DWI, three minors in possession, and two individuals for misdemeanor drugs. There were also 17 traffic citations issued and 58 warnings given.

McDonald says the goal of the saturation was to detect impaired drivers and remove them from the roads.
