The Highway Patrol reports a Galt man sustained minor injuries in a one-car accident a quarter of a mile north of Trenton overnight.
Twenty-eight-year-old Terry Delauder traveled south on U. S. Highway 65 when the car he drove ran off the east side of the road and struck a tree. The vehicle came to rest on private property on its top and received extensive damage.
An ambulance transported Delauder to Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton.
The Patrol reports Delauder did not wear a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and Ambulance, as well as the Trenton Police Department, assisted.
