Linn-Livingston Public Water Supply District #3 has issued a precautionary boil order because of a water main break that was repaired on Tuesday night.
The district describes the affected area as the “main line from the corner of Route Y east of Meadville, south of U.S. Highway 36, and west to Parson Creek”.
The precautionary boil order for drinking and cooking water is effective until Thursday night at 8 o’clock, unless another notice is needed. Water should be boiled for three minutes before use.
