Zion Baptist Church east of Cainsville will hold it’s 19th Annual Gospel Music Jubilee one week later than usual this year.
The event will be held August 24th and 25th and will start Saturday afternoon at 12:30 with an open mic for local talent. That will be followed by the Redeemed Trio, Brad Prater, and the Marks Family 7.
A pork and beef barbecue will start at 6 o’clock in the evening on August 24th with those attending able to eat and pay what they want. The proceeds will go to support the music groups.
The Marks Family 7 will perform again before the Lifeline Band and a jam session. Everyone is invited to bring music makers to the jam session.
Activities at the Zion Baptist Church Gospel Music Jubilee August 25th will start at 11 o’clock in the morning with worship with Tom and Kathy Veatch. A carry-in dinner will start at 12:30 and the Lifeline Band will perform at 1:30 with the Marks Family 7 to follow.
