Weekend arrests from Missouri Highway Patrol include Trenton man, Gallatin man

A 30-year old Trenton man, Shawn Glidewell, was arrested early Saturday morning by the Missouri Highway Patrol.  Glidewell is charged with domestic assault in Grundy County.  After his arrest, Glidewell was taken to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Center on a 24-hour hold.

In Daviess County, a 35-year old Gallatin man, Brian DeWeese, was arrested just after 3:30 on Saturday morning.  The Highway Patrol’s arrest was on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (a Class D felony), two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, and a charge of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  DeWeese was taken to the Daviess County Jail in Gallatin on a 24-hour hold.

A teenager from Kansas City is facing a drug charge after a Saturday morning arrest in Livingston County.  Seventeen-year old Anthony Williams, according to the Highway Patrol, is facing a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana.  He was also be sought on a felony warrant from Jackson County, for alleged stealing.  Williams, following his arrest, was transferred to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department in Chillicothe, where he was to be held until his transfer to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail in Pattonsburg.

An arrest made in Harrison County on Saturday morning has resulted in an assault charge for a Hermitage man.  Twenty-eight year old Dustin M. Reese is facing a preliminary charge of third-degree domestic assault, and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.  Reese was taken to the Harrison County Law Enforcement Center in Bethany on a 24-hour hold.

A man from the state of Illinois was arrested on Saturday night in Caldwell County.  Twenty-year old Ross T. Netzel of Woodridge, Illinois facing preliminary charges of speeding, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Netzel was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
