The Highway Patrol reports two Carrollton residents sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident west of Carrollton Wednesday morning.
Emergency medical services transported driver 21-year-old, Kaylee Hughes, to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital, and a private vehicle took passenger 18-year-old Mackenzie Hughes also to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
The vehicle traveled west on Route E before beginning to skid, running off the left side of the road at County Road 173, and striking an embankment, which caused the vehicle moderate damage.
The Patrol notes the driver and passenger wore seat belts.
