Emergency medical services transported the van driver, 26-year-old Jarrodd Ford of Carrollton, and the SUV driver, 78-year-old Charles Kallenberger of Norborne, to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. Ford sustained moderate injuries and Kallenberger’s injuries were minor.

Both vehicles traveled east on Highway 10, west of County Road 211 before the van hit the SUV causing the SUV to run off the right side of the road and overturn. The SUV was totaled, and the van received extensive damage.
