The Trenton Board of Adjustments approved a variance request on April 1 to allow for the construction of a garage/barn.

Building Inspector Wes Barone reported that the request from Richard and Sue Lollar was approved unanimously, with a vote of four to zero. Committee Member Bruce Constant was absent.

The request sought a 912 square-foot variance from the maximum area limit of 720 square feet for an accessory structure, to allow for the construction of a 34 by 48-foot garage barn at 2080 Fisherman Road.

Barone mentioned there were no concerns raised during the meeting. The Lollars were present at the meeting. The matter will not require further approval from the Trenton City Council.
