Trenton authorities report two arrests on Sunday

Authorities are reporting the arrest of two individuals on Sunday.

Trenton resident 24-year-old Levi Judson O’Neal has been arrested on a Grundy County warrant accusing of two counts of second-degree burglary.  O’Neal is accused of burglary, for the alleged purpose of stealing, at two of the Plaza Apartments. The court information indicates the incidents happened between August 23rd and October 26th. Bond is $15,000 cash.  O’Neal was arrested Sunday in Clay County and was returned to Grundy County.

Another Trenton resident, 34-year-old Matthew Jenkins, was arrested on two counts of misdemeanor assault in the fourth degree stemming from incidents on Saturday and Sunday.  Trenton Police arrested Jenkins Sunday and he is accused of causing physical injury to another person Saturday by allegedly using a knife to threaten that individual on Sunday. Bond is $3,500 cash.

O’Neal and Jenkins are to appear May 22nd in the Associate Division of the Grundy County Circuit Court.
