The Highway Patrol reports three Milan residents sustained minor injuries when the driver of the sports utility vehicle in which they traveled lost control on the snow-covered road Sunday afternoon.
Thirty-two-year-old Gregoria Limon drove east on Missouri 6 when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a fence about two miles east Humphreys. The SUV received extensive damage.
A private vehicle transported passengers 13-year-old Daniel Peralez and 16-year-old Eduardo Romero to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan. The Patrol reports passenger 69-year-old Antonio Limon sought his own treatment, and the driver sustained no injuries.
The Patrol notes all occupants involved in the accident wore a seat belt, except Peralez.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department and Ambulance, as well as the Milan First Responders, assisted at the scene.
