Residents living on Dekalb Street in Princeton spoke to the Princeton City Council Thursday evening about concerns with the road.

The residents would like some oil or chip and seal work done to the gravel road. Traffic has increased due to the dollar store, and gravel dust and rocks are being thrown into their yards.

City Superintendent Greg Goodknight said he would either chip and seal the road or use leftover hot mix the next time the city paves a road.

A few residents also discussed a nuisance letter they received about cleaning up their properties.

Goodknight will meet with the residents at their properties to show them what needs to be done.
